Our townhouse is as authentically intimate, narrow and tall as an Almuñécareñan house shall be: A 3-floors with 2 bedrooms (for 4 (5) persons), 1 bathroom, 1 living room, a winter kitchen downstairs and a summer kitchenette connected to the terrace upstairs.
From the roofed terrace there is a “caracola”/spiral stairway up to a roof terrace where you may enjoy the 360° view of the Sierra Almijara, the old town with the castle San Miguel and the sea. At night, the enlightened Parque Majuelo beneath provides a very nice view. The view from the top is vast!
•Fully equipped with TV, CD, microwave, DVD, bed linen, towels (not beach towels) and kitchen ware, gas for cooking and water heating, otherwise electricity
•Wifi installed, bring your own laptop/smartphone/Ipad. An Internet café just around the corner.
•Food store (Coviran) 2 min walk, Mercadona 10 min walk,and a beautiful market filled with fresh food of all sorts, and flowers and spices only a 5 min walk away
•Shops and restaurants in very close range, the house situated in the lower part of the old town.
•450 meters easy walk to the playa San Cristobal and the other beaches close by. In addition there is the Aqua Tropical Park within a walking distance at the end of the beach, and a pretty good aquarium near by both showing the "birth" of the Mediterranian Sea and the local sealife.
•The house is not suitable for disabled because of the stairs.
•The distance from Malaga is approx. 70 km east, and 65 km south of Granada with the Alhambra castle and easy access by bus as well as by car. Only 10 min walk from the bus station in Almuñécar.
