Description
This holiday home is located just 5 minutes drive south of the coastal city of Torrevieja and is ideal for family, sun, golf or beach vacations. Many booking discounts are available. The property is a 2-story house, fully furnished including linen/towels, and will cater for up to 6 people. There are 2 bedrooms with full air-conditioning, a family bathroom with shower, a separate kitchen and a separate downstairs WC.
The property has 3 sun terraces, one at the entrance to the property, a large one off the second bedroom and a large sun deck on the roof with table, chairs and light. The southern aspect of the property is also ideal for making the most of the sun decks. There are also 2 large communal pools and a grass park for the sole use of the houses in this section of La Cinuelica. Street parking is abundant, only a few steps away and free of charge.
Location and airports
Just south of Torrevieja, this property combines the benefits of being close to a coastal city, with the quietness of a residential holiday area. There are several great pubs, bars and supermarkets within walking distance and several beaches about 20 minutes walk away or a few minutes in the car (Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca and La Zenia).
Torrevieja has several bars, restaurants, cafes, theme parks, markets, shops and much more including several watersport activities and boat hire available. The house is ideally located for golf courses with Villmartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor only 15 minutes away. La Manga is about 50 minutes drive. More details on the next page.
Alicante airport is 40 minutes drive and Murcia slightly closer at 30 minutes drive away. An airport pick-up and return service is also available if you are not renting a car. Full directions will be sent to you after the booking.
Services
There is a full meet-and-greet service at the property where you will be shown the house and its facilities. You will be met by our agents, who is English and lives within walking distance so if you have any questions feel free to ask them.
They are also contactable if there are any questions or problems you have during your stay. A welcome pack can also be booked which includes basic food and drinks for your arrival if you have a late flight.

For children
Aquopolis Water Park in Torrevieja is a great day out for all the family. It has rapids, Kamikaze & Zig Zag water slides. Wave pool, swimming pools & infants pool. Jacuzzi, mini golf, restaurant, cafeteria & lots more. This fun water park is a great place to visit when the sun is beating down, taking a dip in the pools is the only thing that will cool you off. The life guards keep an eye on what’s going on making sure everything runs smoothly. You have the option to bring food and drink with you, or you can use the existing bars and restaurants (fast food), on the premises. Kids love it.
A small, permanent fun fair has its home just off the Promenade too.
Indiana Bills is a childrens soft play park that has been specially designed and created for all children aged 12 and under. They have 2 separate soft play areas that will challenge the skills of climbing, crawling, jumping and sliding all within an air-conditioned environment. The indoor childrens multi activity soft play centre will keep the children entertained for many hours and help them burn off all that excess energy.
Local markets and shopping
Torrevieja boasts one of the largest open air street markets in Spain. It is set up in the vicinity of the bus station every Friday, and people come from miles around to pick up a bargain or to buy fruit and vegetables fresh from the farm.
Local handcrafts can also be purchased in the numerous stalls set up along the Paseo de la Libertad. The most typical local handcrafted products are salt boats, the frames of which are immersed in the saltflats where, after a certain time, these tiny vessels become encrusted with white salt crystals.
The indoor market is open daily for fish, fruit, vegetables and fresh meat and is situated in the centre of town.
Each evening, close to the harbour, you will find the craft market where you can buy hand made Jewellery or maybe some carved art from Africa or even some leather goods at a fraction of the price at home.
The town boasts all kinds of commercial establishments, ranging from large hypermarkets to small shops.
Food and restaurants
For "foodies", Torrevieja is a gastronomic paradise with a mouth-watering variety of restaurants of all kinds. Along with the local fresh fish restaurants and typical cuisine of the region youll find a wealth of international restaurants - Italian, French, German, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Serbian, Croatian…to name but a few! The cost of food and drinks in Torrevieja is very cheap compared with food back home. And of course, there are the usual fast food chains such as Burger King too. The typical Torrevieja Speciality is the "Caldero", which consists of different fish types, rice and the juice of the fish, this you can eat almost anywhere in town.
Other typical sea flavour dishes are rice with fresh anchovy, cooked codfish, red bream, mackerel, ray and other fish, which are prepared in there are own special way in various restaurants.
There are also many specialised restaurants that represent the kitchen of the different Spanish regions.
Sports activities
Torrevieja has a superb selection of sports for the enthusiast, including sailing, diving, tennis, bowls, athletics, football and a gymnasium. With several Championship golf courses around Torrevieja, it is an ideal place to relax and enjoy a golfing holiday.
