This modernised detached finca is in a peaceful and tranquil village location so a car is essential. Only 40 minutes from San Javier airport (Murcia) and set amongst 20,000 sq metres of lemon and olive groves, also orange trees and grape vines. The garden is fully enclosed so pets and small children cannot wander off. The outstanding views of the surrounding countryside and mountains makes this is a perfect base for a relaxing "away from it all" year round holiday, soaking up the sun on the finca's terraces or by the large 12 x 6mtr pool with attached 3 x 3mtr kiddies pool.
For the more adventurous, exploring the Cost Calida region by car, mountain bike or on foot, the area retains a vast amount of unspoiled natural scenery and authentic local character.
We have a selection of mountain bikes for the use of guests to explore the many trails, rambla's & lanes, locally or in the surrounding area.
There is much to see and do in the region with many kilometers of blue flag beaches and unspoilt coves within 20 minutes, also there is the Sierra Espuña National Park, the Mines of Mazarrón, the historical city of Cartagena and for the passionate shopper a 40 minute drive brings you into the centre of either of the historical and beautiful cities of Murcia or Cartagena.
There are 2 golf courses within 20 minutes & 10+ within an hours drive.
Finca Limonero -
The high beamed ceilings, thick stone walls, well insulated roof, double glazing and quality ceiling fans ensure this finca remains cool, even on the hottest day.
There are 4 bedrooms:
Bed 1. Master suite - ground floor with kingsize bed, ceiling fan, walk in wardrobe with small safe leading into ensuite shower room with twin vanity unit. French doors leading to side terrace overlooking olive grove.
Bed 2. First floor double bedroom with ceiling fan, ensuite shower room and french doors to large terrace with table and chairs and amazing views of the surrounding countryside, mountains and beautiful Mediterranean sea at Puerto de Mazarron.
Bed 3. Large twin bedroom,with ceiling fan, walk in wardrobe leading to ensuite shower room.
Bed 4. Childrens room with bunk beds and small mezzanine/chill out area with optional extra child bed.
Lounge/Diner with UK satellite & Spanish TV on 32" LCD screen, DVD player, CD player/radio with USB attachment, woodburner and ceiling fan, large double doors leading to front terrace and hardwood table & chairs for outside dining for 8 also hardwood coffee table and chairs to relax in and enjoy the views.
Modern fully equipped kitchen with built in oven, ceramic hob,extractor fan, microwave/grill,fridge/freezer, dish washer, washing machine, kettle and coffee maker, the work surfaces are solid wood.
Family shower room, where you can hose the kids down!
Smoking is not permitted inside the finca but smoking on the terraces or elsewhere outside is OK.
In the garden is a Petanca court, an addictive game for all ages and hours of family fun, also a large barbecue.
Ample secure "off road" parking for several cars or even a large camper van.
Seperate enclosed pool area with pool house, wet room/changing room & indoor dining/ sitting room. Large pool, 12 x 6mtr with attached 3 x 3mtr childs pool . Poolside gazebo. 8 sunbeds.
The pool is shared only by the owners, Stephen & Maria, who do not use the pool when there are guests.
The villagers are very friendly and if you want to sample the local fare there is a bar/restaurant less than a 5 minute walk away where they serve tapas or menu del dia during the day and in the evenings they have snacks and light meals, all at very reasonable prices. There is also a small Tabac (tobacconist)that also sells tinned and dry goods as well as sweets!
There is a large supermarket in Mazarron (12-15 mins) as well as many grocers for locally grown fresh fruit & vegetables.

*Beach/pool towels ,so saving precious luggage space.
*2 travel cots with bed linen and 2 highchairs.
