This is a brand new, contemporary style villa that has a wonderful modern design. It belongs in the pages of Architectural Digest. The villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a guest toilet. The house can sleep 6 in total not counting children that sleep in cots. The house has an infinity pool 10 meters long by 4.5 meters wide. The infinity pool has black mosaic tile so the colour of the water blends with the sea. The effect is amazing. The pool has an automatic cover that is solar so the cover can heat the pool on its own. Not only is this good for the environment, it is also good for one´s economy as there is no extra cost to heat the pool. The pool has built-in steps and is illuminated as well.
The layout of the house is as follows. At road level there is off road parking for several cars. There is one area that is open and another area that is secure and behind a gate. As you enter the villa, you will be awe struck by the views of the sea, the mountains, which are snow covered part of the year, and the Moorish castle of Salobrena that is illuminated at night. It is like a post card. You can´t ask for a more stunning and interesting view both by day and by night. The spacious main bedroom is on the entrance level. It has a sitting area with 2 comfortable arm chairs and a TV and a DVD. Off of the main bedroom is a private, covered porch, which is the ideal place to enjoy your morning coffee and the sunshine as you take in the lovely views. There is comfortable outdoor furniture for your use. There is an en suite bathroom with double sinks and a good sized bathtub and a walk in wardrobe.
Steps lead down from the entry level to the main level of the villa, where you will find the open plan living area. This open plan living area features double height ceilings with double height windows so you can enjoy the views over the infinity pool to the sea and the mountains. You can even enjoy the blue skies that Andalucia is famous for from inside the villa. Make sure you bring your sun glasses as you can make use of them even when you are inside. There is a wood burner in the living area as well to keep you warm on the occasional cool, winter evenings. The kitchen is modern and features an island and is fully equipped. Of course, there is a dishwasher as well as no one wants to spend their holiday washing up! Since the layout is open plan you can be part of the action while cooking. The living area opens onto the pool terrace so you can move seamlessly from inside to outside.
There are 2 more bedrooms on this main level of the villa. One has a double bed (160 centimeter) and the other has 2 twin beds. Both bedrooms have direct access to the pool terrace and as a result can enjoy the great views and light from inside. Don´t worry there are electric shutters so you can make the room dark to sleep comfortably. There is a family bathroom for use of both of these bedrooms with a large, walk-in shower and double sinks. There is also a guest toilet.
There is plenty of space on the pool terrace to enjoy the sunshine, the views and al fresco meals. There are 6 sun beds, an outdoor sofa and chairs and a dining table. There is a gas barbeque at the villa as well for your use and enjoyment. There is a zen garden that is in keeping with the contemporary design of the villa.
The house has central hot and cold air conditioning so your comfort is guaranteed year round. The beach, restaurants and shops are less than 10 minutes away by car. Guests of this villa have complimentary, unlimited use of the well maintained communal pool, children´s pool, tennis court, playground and football pitch. There is a kiosk there, open part of the year, where you can purchase drinks and snacks. There are a variety of picturesque coastal towns nearby that are well worth visiting. The wonderful city of Granada with the UNESCO world heritage area of the Albaycin and the Alhambra Palace are less than 50 minutes away. The ski slopes of Sierra Nevada are 1 hour and 15 minutes away so you can ski in the morning and relax on the beach or in the heated (via the solar cover) infinity pool in the afternoon. Malaga is also nearby and is well worth visiting with its great climate, museums, shops and restaurants.
