A traditional Andalucian village house, but naturally with all modern amenities, our house nestles in one of the many pretty patios found in the winding streets of the old town. It has two double bedrooms (one double, one twin/double) and a large private roof terrace with stunning views of the cathedral and ancient town walls, as well as the valley below.
There are two large living areas: on the ground floor, the dining area/living room adjoins the separate kitchen with its pretty Andalucian painted floor tiles. It has an oven, 4-ring hob, kettle, toaster and is fully supplied with all that you need for cooking. Two bedrooms, a double and a twin (can be made into a double) are next to the bathroom with its Andalucian floor tiles. The bathroom has been newly refurbished for 2013. A spiral staircase leads up to the light filled sitting room above which leads through antique wooden terrace doors onto the spacious roof terrace with dining area, decorated with terracotta pots, plants and moroccan lamps. We have just added a lovely permanent awning that gives plenty of room to enjoy sun or shade.
The beautiful white town of Vejer de la Frontera is a 10-minute drive from some of the most unspoilt beaches in Spain, making for an experience which combines the magic of the real Andalucia with the relaxation of a laid back beach holiday. We are also within an hour’s drive of Cadiz and Jerez, and an hour and a halfs drive from Seville, so our house makes a wonderful base for exploring the area, always knowing that you’ll be returning at the end of the day to a beautiful spot within easy walking distance of several good restaurants and bars.
There is also ample parking immediately behind the house (30 second walk) so whether you are lugging your suitcases, a picnic or young children, there isnt far to go, which can often be a problem in a town that wasnt originally designed for cars!
Wi-fi access is available on a small daily/weekly charge from the local internet cafe and can be used from the roof terrace.

|Note:||A 50% deposit will be required on booking the property,by bank transfer to our Deutsche Bank account in Spain, with the final 50% due a month before departure.
The property will be cleaned before and after your stay, but we would ask you to leave it as clean as you can on departure out of courtesy to our cleaner who is a neighbour. Linen and towels are included but not beach/sunbathing towels, which you will need to bring with you.
We do not take a refundable damage deposit as we work on trust with our guests. If you do break or damage something, we would ask that you replace it if possible or offer to pay for it to be mended.
